Range of Motion (ROM)

The ROM test provides an estimate of the workspace the subject can reach. UniTherapy can use the ROM result for several features:

To create tracking targets that will be within the ROM of the subject,
To map the ROM of the subject to the full workspace by a 2D transformation (rotatate, shift and scale the view), so the although the subject cannot reach full workspace, UniTherapy displays targets that span the window.

Procedure	Graphical User Interface
Before the test, the subject is required to move the input device to a position they feel comfortable.
User clicks "Circle" in the toolbar and the subject are asked to draw the biggest circle as possible as they can in the screen. The subject should draw the circle clockwise and counter-clockwise separately.
User clicks “Circle” again when the subject finished drawing.
User can use mouse to define the ROM of the subject at this stage. UniTherapy will give an estimate automatically.
User clicks “Radio” button and the subject are asked to move the green ball along each radio line and return to center.
User clicks “Radio” again when the subject finished the task, and the ROM result can be saved by “Save ROM” Menu. And the ROM result can be loaded later by “Open ROM” Menu.
